CEO and Technical Director of Optidel Biosystems
With a degree in Biology and Biochemistry and more than 15 years of experience in the cosmetic and biotech industry, Oihane Vesga stands out as a strategic leader with a forward-looking vision. Throughout her career, she has held key roles in R&D, operations, and technical management, driving innovation and optimizing industrial processes in sector companies.
As CEO of Optidel Biosystems, she combines her technical expertise with a comprehensive business vision to drive the company’s growth and positioning in cosmetic biotechnology. She plays a key role in the company’s expansion, overseeing new facilities and coordinating multidisciplinary teams across R&D, quality, production, and commercial strategy.
Committed to continuous improvement, she has implemented rigorous quality standards and led the adaptation of processes to regulatory and market challenges. Her R&D experience has been essential to creating innovative formulations and enabling technology transfer.

Teresa Ramos
R&D Manager for Cosmetic Ingredients
A graduate in Marine Sciences with specialization in Environmental, Industrial, and Food Biotechnology, Teresa Ramos holds a master's in Microbiological and Biotechnological Testing. Her career has focused on researching natural active ingredients and their applications in pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and nutraceutical sectors.
With experience in developing nutraceuticals and functional foods, she has worked on optimizing natural extracts by improving solubility, bioavailability, and stability using advanced analytical techniques such as liquid chromatography (HPLC) and mass spectrometry (GC-MS) to ensure quality and efficacy.
As R&D Manager for Cosmetic Ingredients at Optidel Biosystems, she leads the development of innovative active ingredients based on advanced biotechnology, delivering sustainable and effective solutions for the cosmetics industry.
Miren Molina
R&D Manager for Cosmetic Formulation
With a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Miren has a strong specialization in Cosmetic Industry, Microbiology, and Cosmetic Product Safety Evaluation, and is currently pursuing a master’s in Chemical Science and Technology. Her experience spans from designing and developing innovative products to optimizing and scaling processes to ensure industrial feasibility and regulatory compliance.
Throughout her career, she has worked on formulating and evaluating cosmetic products in various segments (skin care, hair care, body care, color, and sun care), taking part in all stages of the production process. Her approach combines a strong technical foundation with innovative vision, contributing to the Optidel Biosystems team with expertise in polyphenols and their antioxidant potential in high-value-added cosmetic formulations.
